Not all of these are Street Fighter characters, but, check ’em out. Pay attention to the stances, which are the main nods to what fighting game character they’re mashed up with (but sometimes you see it in other subtle details).

When someone says “hey look at this art”, generally you don’t read the plaque before viewing the works.
Sure, if I am in a physical gallery where there are plaques I would look at the artwork and then read its background.
However, in a digital medium that is completely absent of plaques, I tend to read articles in a top-down manner, processing the text and the interspersed pictures as they are presented.

To be fair, if you read a headline that says “If Disney Princesses Were Old School Street Fighter Characters”, you don’t really expect the first line to be “But that’s not really what this article is about”.
