What do the characters of Sword Art Online, Black Bullet, The Devil Is a Part-Timer!, The Irregular at Magic High School, and Valkyria Chronicles all have in common? They’re all ready to beat the living hell out of each other in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax.
Like Jump Ultimate Stars or J-Stars Victory VS, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is a mega-crossover fighting game filled with famous characters from many popular Japanese anime. However, while Jump V-Stars Victory VS technically pulls its characters from some of Japan’s most popular manga, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax gets its characters from some of Japan’s most popular light novels — as well as some of publisher Sega’s most acclaimed game series. In fact, Fighting Climax sports a total of 37 characters (14 playable, 23 assist) from across 21 different series. But what characters you may ask?

Heard about this a while ago, but hadn’t heard about Sadao being a character.
Here are my thoughts about this game:
Oh dear, they let izaya in as an assist, yeah a whole lot of trolling
hmmm, for swordsmen, i would go for sao
celty as an assist, yeah, someone is going to be best up with a scythe
to all other characters, run, because they let in shizuo, known for using vending machines as weapons & not flinching at any damage, plus throwing people who have managed to annoy him
Wow, that’s an impressive lineup!
I would love to play as some of these characters, and I have no idea about the game at all :-\
(I must be a huge nerd, I know nearly all of these characters names before I saw the description)
bludgeon to death, ~pi piru pi piru pi~
bludgeon to death, ~pi piru pi piru pi~
etc, etc, etc.
That was mean – putting ‘Dream’ and ‘Cast’ so close together like that…
Kuroneko & Asuna! <3
Disappointed Dengeki Bunko couldn’t see their way to including anyone from Baccano! in this game.
Im gonna railgun the crap out of this game. Or taiga!
Watch as it never get’s an international release due to licensing issues
The un-powered middle school girls from Oreimo and Toradora going toe-to-toe against people like Kirito and Shizuo who are clearly OP in their series rubs me a bit the wrong way. But then again, I cannot remain angry about a product that incorporates the super underrated and unjustly forgotten Boogiepop Phantom!
Durarara!! This is the best line up.
Kino? Wait… that’s popular? I thought it was underrated?
These ones are the best ones here.
Valkyria Chronicles maybe… I still haven’t played it yet.
