Asura’s Wrath Demo On January 10th Lets You Can Try Out 2012’s Angriest Game

They crank out a lot of Street Fighter and Resident Evil but Capcom also has a history of putting out weird, unique games like Okami, God Hand and Viewtiful Joe. Rageaholic adventure Asura’s Wrath seems to follow in the legacy of such idiosyncratic games. We’ve written a bit about the mythological sci-fi action brawler, but those of you curious about what it plays like only have to wait a little longer to sample it.

Demos for Asura’s Wrath will be hitting PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on January 10th of next year, showcasing Chapters 5 and 11 of the game with the demo from TGS 2011. Capcom Unity says that some features will be added to that slice of the game, too. That gives you more than a month to see what it feels like to fight giant deities and their fingers. The full game hits Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 21st.

  • Looking forward to this one, looks like it’s got a crazy fun story… though am cautious over the fact there seems to be alot of QTE in the combat, so hopefully the demo will show the game better.

    • lol, you know what I didn’t actually read the headline, I basically only read “Asura’s Wrath Demo”, reading it now certainly gave a few laughs!

    • Evan may not proofread his articles, but has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

  • Can’t wait to play this :D. Also- can anyone tell what the heck is with Asura’s muscles? He looks all bionic or something. He’s very cool, I just can’t figure out what he’s supposed to be/how his body works…

    • It’s possible, as one trailer sees you playing energy beams with some massive “god”, after that encounter you seem to be armless at some point
