Pikachu. Electricity. Plugs. Make sense, sure. But why did the people who made this Pokemon product stick the cable there?

Via China’s Octinn, this PVC Pikachu knock-off has ears that double as plugs to put in electrical sockets. It isn’t clear whether or not this is licensed, but the lack of Pokemon Company copyright notices is suspect.

The general idea is good, but this is very, very bad.

I think even the general idea of encouraging kids to stick toys into electrical sockets is bad in itself. I mean part of the marketing even shows Ash being electrocuted, which I get is a running joke in Pokemon, but in this context is a little concerning.
Seems like a great place to put the cable. Where do I get one?
Doesn’t USB stand for Universal Serial Butts?
Butt plugs for Pokemon, now I have seen it all.
Pikachu – He Craps Power!!!
On the plus side, it explains that facial expression…
