What better way to get fans ready for some newfangled old-school 2D Sonic the Hedgehog action than some newfangled old-school 2D animation?
Produced by comic book writer/artist Tyson Hesse and featuring killer music from Hyper Potions, Sonic Mania‘s opening movie is a delightfully frantic piece. Sonic and his two original super friends run, jump and fly through a colourful fantasy world, having themselves a hell of a time.

That should be the style for Sonic games now.
