While growing up, I, of course, knew the Mario and Sonic themes, but it wasn’t until I first played Final Fantasy VI that game music really started to affect me. To say I have a soft spot for the series’ music is an understatement — which is why I am ecstatic that Theatrhythm: Curtain Call has 109 new songs.
In total, the game has 221 songs (239 with the currently available DLC). Moreover, including its DLC, every song from the original Theatrhythm — except for “Somnus” from Final Fantasy XV — returns in Curtain Call.
But which Final Fantasy tracks make up Curtain Call‘s 109 new songs (127 with the currently available DLC)? Check out the list below and click the links for a listen.

Well screw this game.
I know this kind of re-release is basically abusing fans but I’m going to buy it anyway because I’m a sucker. I wonder if it works with DLC from the first one? I think theatrhythm is the only game I’ve ever paid for DLC for that wasn’t a legitimate expansion.
a good deal of the DLC songs from the first one are included standard in curtain call.
Oh wow, a Romancing SaGa 3 track is in the game? Shame it wans’t the main theme that plays during the intro, that track is epic (And I’m pretty sure they used some of it in the Ul’Dah city theme in FF14:ARR)
Whoaaaaa it includes all the original and most of its DLC tracks?! So hype!
It’s only $50 for a preorder so I think I’ll preorder it today. I waited for a price drop on the original but now it’s rare (and expensive) so I’m not taking my chances this time!
I would buy this no problem if it wasn’t for how Nintendo handles online purchases. In its current state 3ds online functionality is a mess. I’m a completionist when it comes to games, and if it has a dlc that for whatever reason I is either too expensive/do not feel comfortable buying from them, they wont get a sale.
