Final Fantasy Agito is dead. It’s no more. In its place, Square Enix is launching a new online title in its place: Final Fantasy Type-0.
Currently in development, the game is aimed for global players (unlike the Japan-centric Final Fantasy Agito), and there will be a beta test in China. The hack-and-slack will launch sometime between autumn and winter of next year.
The game was announced for smartphones, but today, Square Enix did not mention consoles or PC.

I don’t want to be that guy, but… Nobody had time to read over two paragraphs? That’s a lot of awkward phrasing for such a short article, not to mention the blatant typo.
maybe SE is inventing a new genre
With the proliferation of bots in online games I think the Hack’n’Slack (off) genre is well established.
Well no thank you square.
They did mention PC:

Who asked for this?
Absolutely no one. After all the whinging and crying, Square-Enix finally released Type-0 and it was revealed to be decidedly mediocre. It’s becoming harder and harder to remember a time when the name Final Fantasy was the absolute apex of role-playing. (sigh)
…I didn’t ask for this…
