Which is stupid because there are a hell of a lot of ways to be a toxic player in OW that don’t involve chat. And those ways are worse because you can already mute toxic chat.

The bubble hasn’t burst for Kickstarter at all. Right now there are at least five fully funded video game projects over US$20k with time left on the clock, one of which has raised US$461,347 and another has currently raised £72,216 (AUD$123,563).
At least a dozen are currently funded or have been funded recently in the $50k range, which was always the indie sweet spot for Kickstarter, ignoring stuff like the Double Fine juggernaut.
This constant talk of Kickstarter ‘bust’ is just developers with crap projects feeling salty that their particular pitch didn’t attract any interest from backers, which has always been the case since the first days of Kickstarter.
