Lim "Larva" Hong Gyu won the finals of last week's Zotac Cup Masters Showmatch while playing StarCraft: Remastered with his foot and pretending to take a nap during the match. Zotac, the hardware company sponsoring the tournament, put out a statement in Chinese threatening to "officially ban Korean player Larva from attending any Zotac Cup competition organised by Zotac", and saying that it "really, really hopes Korean player Larva would apologise to his opponent".

During the finals of the Zotac Cup Masters Showmatch, Larva made quick work of his opponent's base, and in the game's final moments, he lifted his bare left foot onto the keyboard to tap in a few final button presses.
Victor "PG Punk" Woodley took first place in Street Fighter 5 last Sunday night at the NorCal Regionals. Between that and his first place finish at West Coast Warzone the week prior, he's all but guaranteed himself a top slot in the 2017 Capcom Cup. But the main reason why Punk has become the talk of the town is that he keeps teabagging his opponents.
Taunting in Mario Kart 8 is a fine art. Maybe because they can't trash talk each other online, seasoned players have resorted to waiting at the finish line to trip up incoming racers as the ultimate form of kart-based swagger. But this is hard to pull off. If you don't, you end up looking very silly.
