As a hopeless Jets fan and Tebow-fearing human, I was not too pleased at this afternoon’s news that the Denver Broncos have traded divine quarterback Timothy Richard Tebow to the New York Jets. Current starter Mark Sanchez has enough of a media circus on his hands already.
It is hardly a surprise that the NCAA Football 11, due out July 13, does not feature Tim Tebow with the Scriptures written on his eyeblack tape. That’s not to say EA Sports has never allowed similar things before.
The agent for former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow says he was in Orlando last week to do “promotional work” for EA Sports, and while nothing’s confirmed, it’s almost unimaginable he won’t be on the cover of NCAA Football 11.
