Nintendo used to have a big strategy series called Advance Wars. It's dead now, crushed beneath Fire Emblem's growing popularity, but those hoping for a return to the days of cute lil' tanks should definitely check out Tiny Metal.

Game developer Tariq Lacy has accused director Hiroaki Yura of stealing money from a Kickstarter called Project Phoenix to fund his latest game, Tiny Metal. Yura has fired back with his own allegations, accusing Lacy of sexual harassment, which Lacy denies. It's a back-and-forth mudslinging fight and yet another piece of drama surrounding Yura's disastrous $US1 million ($1.3 million) Kickstarter project.
Since developers Intelligent Systems are too busy these days on Fire Emblem (and other stuff) to make any more of their brilliant Advance Wars games, a team of Japanese developers have decided to do their work for them, announcing a new PC title that is Advance Wars in everything but name.
