Oculus Rift Was A Little Too Real For This Security Guard

Oculus Rift Was A Little Too Real For This Security Guard

At a gaming community event in Uganda the other day, the organisers thought it’d be fun to strap an Oculus Rift headset to one of the security guards. He was not ready.

It’s easy to laugh, but I sympathise. My first turn on the near-standard rollercoaster demo nearly had me doing the same thing, and left me feeling sick as hell for a few minutes after.

God help us when the consumer model, with clearer visuals, eventually hits.
