Artist Dcmjs decided to design a gallery of travel advertisements using World of Warcraft starting zones. They’re the perfect candidates after all: Relatively calm zones with unique themes, and everyone who played WoW visited at least one or two of them and probably thought what it’d be like to visit them in real life.
Here are some highlights below (I love the “We have a really cool tram” quote in the Dun Morogh one). There are a lot more in the creator’s imgur gallery, including funny concepts how these fake ads would look like on billboards, public transportation or on various other items.
