You’re a superhero on a team with Cable, the bad-arse mutant warrior who comes from the future. You need to hold onto hope, to hear that there’s a reason to keep fighting the good fight. But you’re also on a team with Wade Wilson.
Things are tense of late in Uncanny Avengers, what with the return of a Hank Pym who’s bonded to Ultron. The bulk of this week’s issue #10 is spent watching the newly returned hero re-acclimate to Avenger duty. Meanwhile, Johnny Storm gets around to talking to Cable about something that’s been on his mind. Something about the years to come.
But then Deadpool interrupts.
There is some foreknowledge that would rip the fabric of spacetime asunder, were we to learn it ahead of its appointed time. Cool it, Wade.

That is gold. Half-Life 3 is well and truly in DNF territory. But I’m wondering, surely Wade isn’t a PC gamer; and just for the puns I’m guessing he’s an xboner….
He’s only an xboner because of the word xboner.
Champagne comedy.

Very glad that link led where I hoped it would.
I haven’t kept up with Cable recently, but he is not the person to ask for good news about the future. He was raised in a dystopian future ruled by Apocalypse, and then had to raise Hope in a completely different dystopian future where Bishop had destroyed the world and the closest thing to civilisation was a dystopian city ruled by his evil clone, Stryfe. With Cable it’s dystopias all the way down.
