Australian Open tennis champion Novak Djokovic is looking for a fresh challenge for his sporting career. He’ll be back in Melbourne from Jan 19 to defend his title, but the real reason he’ll be there is to take you on at Wii Tennis.

Take Novak Djokovic On in Wii Sports Tennis

Nintendo, Official Gaming Console Partner of the 2009 Australian Open, gives you the once in a lifetime opportunity to play Wii Sports tennis against Australian Open 2008 defending champion Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic will be visiting the Wii Tennis Club, one of Nintendo’s two dedicated areas at the 2009 Australian Open, and one lucky fan will be invited to come down and take on Djokovic in a match of Wii Sports tennis.

Djokovic, who started playing tennis at the age of four, and turned professional in 2003, is a Wii fan and is relishing the opportunity to take on another fan during the Australian Open. Currently ranked number three in the world, Djokovic has won one Grand Slam title and four Masters Series titles.
