WIN! Kotaku’s Big Pile Of Crap!

Wanna see some of the crap we're giving away to one lucky Kotaku reader? Let's delve into the pile and take a look.

As you should know, we're giving away a big pile of crap. I get sent loads of gaming swag throughout the year and, by December, my desk is cluttered with all sorts of crap. So, to clear it out, I'm giving it all away to the reader who provides the most consistently thoughtful, articulate, helpful and worthwhile comments on the site between now and the end of the year.

Of course, when I say "crap" I don't really mean that. There's plenty of cool stuff in the Pile of Crap. Stuff like this: a Silver Surfer comic book (to promote the digital comic store on PSN); a red Nintendo grocery bag; a Scene It? game for Xbox 360; Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny on PSP; a pack of Bayonetta playing cards; a ball of brown wool, knitting needles and instructions on how to knit your own Sackboy; a Voodoll from Popcap Games; a New Super Mario Bros. Wii lanyard; a Darksiders poster; and four Rockstar Games t-shirts (Red Dead Redemption, Midnight Club, The Ballad of Gay Tony and Beaterator). So, what do you think: cool or crap?

Oh, and stay tuned for the final pic from the Pile of Crap later this afternoon.

This is probably the least exciting section of the big pile of stuff. NSMB Lanyard is pretty cool, but the other stuff is very Meh

Ah, but beggars can't be choosers, Steven, and the price is certainly right...

I’ve been looking forward to Red Dead Redemption so much as of late. Its on my must buy for 2010

looks like someone will finally be playing poker with Bayonetta.......get it, poker

"a ball of brown wool, knitting needles and instructions on how to knit your own Sackboy;"

    Best. Idea. Ever.

Awesome, i've been hoping you would have that sackboy in a yawn.

You ssay that the final picture of the crap is coming this afternoon... so when does that mean the competition ends?

      yarn not yawn >.>

Nice! This is going to be an awesome prize for whoever wins it. So much good stuff in the Pile 'o Crap.

David, will Kotaku be posting news between Christmas and New Years?

Either way, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I'd pinch Soul Calibur on the PSP, Rockstar Shirts and the Darksiders Poster :D

If I win, I'm so going to knit my own sackboy! I'll make him truly metal, like a member of Dethklok

Also, you can't go wrong with GTA stuff!

Okay, now I want you to win so I can see your Dethklok Sackboy.

"pickles the sack boy doodily doo.. ding dong doodily doodily doo"

I'm definitely rethinking my definition of 'crap'.

should be a pack of wild stuff for kids not a pile of crap

The do-it-yourself-sackboy! I completely forgot about him!

If I won, I would knit that little bugger to town. Maybe they have sackboy-sized clothes at build-a-bear... either way, these glimpses make me hope more and more that I win, and more congratulations to whoever does if I don't.

Whoever wins should have to post several pictures of the entire pile of crap, along with picture guides on putting together their own sackboy. Pretty good idea from Sony.

mannnn.... I wanna raid your offices so much right now....

it's now safe to say - i LURVE crap!

    LOVE the sackboy wool.

Mr Spoon is a huge Silver Surfer fan. Mr Spoon believes Norrin Radd should have his own digital entertaiment product in which to wield the power cosmic...

I already own a set of Bayonetta playing cards from the OPS Mag.

I would totally make my own sackboy and keep it at the edge of my bed. :D

Oh man. Knitting, playing cards. So many possibilities...

O.o Sackboy kit..... do want for Christmas! Oh please I'll drop everything if I can get that kit!!

Just looking at this stuff makes me cry.

Ooh, I need a new lanyard. My Halo 3 one is tattered. And that sackboy stuff would be awesome; a few of my relatives knit. I would definitely make some Vault Boy clothes to go with it.

Pile of Crap = Pile of Win.

    Words cannot describe the awesome...

You know, there is going to have to be some kind of rental truck hired to ship this to the winner (me).

That Mario Bros lanyard and keyring looks awesome.

    I want.
