An ‘Everlong’ Ending To A Two-Day Blizzard Celebration

This is pretty much exactly how I imagined BlizzCon 2010 would end when I first heard that Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters would be playing us out.

Just about the same time the Foo Fighters took the stage at the BlizzCon 2011 closing ceremonies, I realised I was incredibly hungry and would likely collapse if I tried to wade into the pungent writhing crowd. This is largely due to a bout of nausea that hit me upon waking, itself a direct result of the nice people that kept bringing me drinks at the Kotaku Meetup the night before.

I love those people. Also, I hate them just a little bit.

Luckily for all of us, YouTube user George Ruiz was there, capturing the final moments of the concert for all to see. If you dig around on YouTube enough you’ll probably find the entire event split up into multiple parts. Or you could just break out your Foo Fighters CDs (remember CDs?) and spend a lazy Sunday rocking out while I fly home.
