Syndicate Does Terrible Things To Rosario Dawson

On the left we have Rosario Dawson, in my opinion one of the most attractive actors working today. On the right, a soulless husk with eyes that have seen such horrors… such horrors. A creepy vessel used to transport Dawson’s voice into EA’s Syndicate. She looks worse than Cox.

Dawson, star of Sin City, Men in Black II and Clerks II, is joined by X-2 actor Brian Cox as the headliner voice talent for the upcoming sci-fi shooter. Dawson plays Lily Draw, a rising star at EuroCorp that secretly sympathises with the underground resistance seeking to rid the world of its corporate overlords. Cox portrays Jack Denhem, a ruthless corporate master with horrible hair.

I’m sure she looks better than this in the game proper. Somebody just picked the entirely wrong shot for the official voice talent announce. It has to be that, right?

At least Rosario seems pleased with the opportunity.

“I’m amazed how video games have become so deep in story, delivering fantastic worlds and memorable characters rivaling big Hollywood films. I was excited when EA approached me to play Lily Drawl in Syndicate. She’s an interesting and strong female character. How cool is it to play the mastermind who designed the military chip inside the player’s head!”

Much cooler when she isn’t staring into the horrors of infinity, I’m sure. We’ll find out on February 21, when Syndicate hits the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
