A Gaming Landmark, Transformed


This morning, Kotaku video editor Chris Person and I took a trip to New York’s Chinatown Fair, which reopened last Friday following a sudden closure last December. It doesn’t look very much like the old Chinatown Fair.

The gaming landmark, once a Mecca for competitive fighting gamers, is now a family-friendly arcade.

Still, new owner Lonnie Sobel says he plans to add a few new machines for the fighting game crowd, like Tekken Tag 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom. Watch the video for a full-on look at the new locale.
