After showing what voice support in FIFA 13 entails, EA Sports then brought NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montano on stage to demonstrate voice support in Madden NFL 13.
EA Sports label head Andrew Wilson handed Montana a controller and put him back on his old home field with the San Francisco 49ers. Montana flipped a run play’s direction at the line of scrimmage, ordered Michael Crabtree on a hot route by saying his name, and then audibled to a completely different play. Telling tight end Vernon Davis to block to the left, Montana took running back Frank Gore into the end zone for a touchdown.
Madden NFL 13 will be released on August 28.
