Harmonix’s downloadable Frequency-ising of all the Rock Band music begins on August 28 and 29, when Rock Band Blitz comes to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade for $US15. You have no idea how hard I crave it.

  • Really looking forward to this. The fact that my long long list of music from Rock Band can be used and the tracks from Blitz in RB3 is fantastic.

    • Oh yes, that is the biggest bonus of them all, the fact that it also works in reverse, the songs in Blitz will work in RB is further icing.

Frequency was so addictive, Amplitude wasn’t so much, but that’s because I preferred the Tube!

    • Yeah to me the whole appeal of Rock Band and Guitar Hero was using plastic instrument controllers and pretending to play real instruments. Take away the instruments and there isn’t much appeal left.

Mind you, I sold all my RB/GH gear and games a few years ago now, I’ve been totally over the whole concept for quite some time.
