Our pals at Gizmodo were lucky enough to take a trip out to Hasbro recently, where they sat in with the folks responsible for designing the company’s prototype action figures.

In the amazing video above, we get to meet some of the people behind the toy’s design, see how models are built in 3D printers and how they’re painted by hand.
