Altered Beast
Actually, the use of the word “beast” in there means it’s probably not. Though those weird pig things you kick definitely make it sound like it could match…
Nah, I think it is indeed Altered Beast, a one syllable alternative to “beast” may have been hard to come by.
But if you condense “what is” to “what’s” you have a whole extra syllable to play with!

Except you don’t “begin as old” in Altered Beast…unless it’s referring to the fact that you start each level as your “old” self again before morphing into a new beast.
Could also be the whole “Rise from your grave” thing, but I think you’ve got it
The main character is a resurrected Roman centurion. That’s pretty old, I’d reckon.

If the argument could be made that you start Majora’s Mask at the end of Ocarina of Time you could say that you begin as old. You can also turn into a number of beasts and there is a pig mask…
