YouTuber Mike Hecxz captured the moment when members of the awesome Pro Voltage cosplay group are assembling their Metal Gear REX costume at Otakon 2014. As you can see, it’s so huge they need more than one people to help.
But when it’s assembled, the result is just incredible. You can’t even see there’s someone inside:

That’s another level. Really, there’s got to be a term for something like this – it’s beyond mere cosplay.
This isn’t mere cosplay. This is cosbusiness.

An obstacle?
I’d call it puppetry personally. They’re controlling a large puppet, but they can’t walk within it, so it’s not a costume.
If you can’t move around, then does it really count? It may as well be a static display.
Looks great, but is it a costume?
Impressive feat of prop making, but not cosplay.
This, I have pictures from local cons of much more complicated cosplay that were also functional.
Loool, which Snake was the guy at the end on the right side?
Stiller Snake?
