Comments

    ANybody know whats worth watching?
    SO FREAKING MANY

log horizon, cross ange, bahamut and gundam. psycho pass season two may be the greatest anime this season or the worst, season two is written by the guy who did hamatora, probably the worst written pos I've ever seen.

Psycho pass is pretty good. I saw the first ep of Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis and I reckon I'll stick with it, see how it pans out, it had some great action in it. I'll be watching Parasyte too, its getting a whole lot of attention with a live action film being made too so I'm keen to see what the fuss is over. And of course Mushishi which is downright amazing and the bestest

Mushishi animation reminds me of Ponyo.
        and yes its brilliant.

Hard to call with anime. Psycho Pass was pretty good, probably one of the best sci-fi ones in recent times, with Stein's;Gate. You can find the first season on AnimeLab.

Mushishi's supposed to be good but I haven't seen it.

Terraformars is a decent manga, but you'll definitely only like it if you like shows like:
Gantz or Attack on Titan. And it's pretty long so you might find it a bit much, even then.

Otherwise, dunno, there aren't many that stand out. I'd check out some of the fantasy-type ones, though, they can be great.

Log Horizon is definitely one. In terms of story and how much information the anime gives you in regards to the anime's world, It's definitely above Sword Art Online in every way

        to support my statement:

        http://z.mhcdn.net/store/manga/12755/003.0/compressed/d024.jpg?v=11385092921

There are only 2 I'm curious about. Everything else, nope!

Karen senki and magic kaito 1412

When is Attack on Titan kicking off again. That was awesome.

I have been watching the first season of dubbed Mushishi and am not convinced I like it. Nowhere near enough killing.

I wouldn't recommend mushishi to an aot lover lol. dunno how much anime you've seen but try xamd or full metal alchemist if you want more epic fantasy stories.

      You should watch:
Terraformars. Or Gantz, if you haven't seen that (actually don't know if there's an anime version). There's pretty much a whole anime/manga genre where the authors deliberately kill off everyone. Anything where they have to survive an apocalypse is most likely one of them.

Gantz I have the DVD box set of. Terra formers I will give a go this week.

'When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace' is by Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill) and it was a pretty good first episode.

Thanks for this. These info snippets really need to also include Studio (I know asking for director may be too much).

I've had Amagi Brilliant Park on my radar to watch since it was announced, I loved (and still do) Full Metal Panic!

Good luck trying to watch it legally in Australia! (unless Crunchyroll somehow miraculously picks it up as a last-minute addition)

hmm Terraformars is the most interesting looking one. Feels like an 80s style anime

I liked psycho pass season 1 so I'm interested in season 2. Log horizon is goofy but a fun watch.
I didn't know "When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace" was trigger so I'll definitely check it out, and yeah Parasyte I'll check out as well.

I'm still needing to fill that giant hole JoJo and Hunter x hunter has left

are any of these in english/subtitled for the luddites ( me... )

Don't be fooled by the Romance tag for The Fruit of Grisaia. This show is anything but pure romance and has one of the most bad ass main characters ever. If you expect him to be a clueless moron like most guys are in romance shows then you are in for a big shock. Anyone who has played the Visual Novel that this is an adaptation of will tell you how amazing it is and great the characters are. The last few moments for the 1st episode will show you this isn't your typical romcom. Very much recommended.

Among these, I'm most excited for the Parasyte adaptation. The manga was pretty good.

It would be nice if you guys could edit this to show which ones are available where in Australia. I don't think any Funimation shows can be seen here...

Madman's got a sort-of partnership with Funimation (I gather?), but none of these shows are on their AnimeLab.

Not to mention finding Australian-available trailers of the series.

I remember reading something about the terraformars Manga. Sounded pretty cool and I'm really into the ultraviolent anime
