Much like myself, K-putt has spent the last year taking screenshots of video games. While mine are of Crusader Kings II menu screens, though, his are of a whole range of games, and they are absolutely gorgeous.
You can see his entire collection here, but he also shared a “best of 2014” roundup. They’re not all games released in 2014, just games he took pictures of in 2014.
Below are some highlights (the top image is from Crysis 3).

Awesome screenshots! But wasn’t Rage released in 2011?
“They’re not all games released in 2014, just games he took pictures of in 2014.”
People criticise Luke for writing short, content-free articles, but I can’t really blame him when some don’t read as far as paragraph 2…
Blur was release in 2010, GTA4 in 2008, and Ryse & Tomb Raider in 2013. And Rage, yes, in 2011.
Ah my fault. I read the first paragraph but just wanted to see the lovely screenshots.
A few of those games are older than last year (e.g. GTA IV, Blur). But I guess if he took the screenshot last year than it’s still eligible 😛
They look less like screenshots and more like concept art/matte paintings. Either way it all looks impressive.
In case anyone missed it, MIND: PATH TO THALAMUS is part of the Humble bundle this week. https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly
Looks pretty.
Watch dogs in a screenshot montage, hmm no wonder they had to focus on a couple of pillars.
