tinyBuild Games — of Punch Club and Lovely Planet fame — are also putting out The Final Station. Which looks both grim and cute-as-hell at the same time.
Grim because the world is dying! Cute-as-hell because just look at that cute little hero and those cute little zombie ghost things.
Here’s the official description:
Travel by train through a dying world. Look after your passengers, keep your train operational, and make sure you can always reach the next station. Make your way through swarms of infected at each station. Explore mysterious and abandoned stations looking for supplies and survivors. This is The Final Station.
Post-apocalyptic Cute Train Passenger Management is not a genre I thought I’d be interested in when I woke up this morning.
The Final Station is coming to Steam in “Summer 2016”.

I reckon this would be so much better if it had the same style and gloominess as This War of Mine. Still looks very interesting though!
