The Last Uncharted 4 Trailer Is Short But Sweet

I’ve always argued that the Uncharted series has the best writing in all of video games. It’s difficult to judge from trailers alone, but I get the sense that Uncharted 4 is shaping up to be pretty spectacular in this regard.

Even in the trailers it just seems so lean, smart, natural. Seriously — we’re not used to this sort of stuff in video games. Usually you have to excuse this dud line, ignore the fact that this dialogue doesn’t make sense. I think what I love about Uncharted the most is that you don’t have to make those excuses, you don’t have to say, “well this is good… for a video game.” The writing, almost always, is just flat out good.

Really looking forward to this one.
