Ever since they held hands and entered our hearts as “Korrasami” in the Korra series finale, we’ve been dying to see what was next for Republic City’s best couple — and that’s meant waiting forever to see the arrival of Dark Horse’s first-ever Korra comic. Now we have the first pages from the book, and it’s everything we wanted.
Entertainment Weekly has released the first look at The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, the long-awaited graphic novel continuation of Legend of Korra written by the show’s co-creator, Michael Dante DiMartino, with art by Irene Koh. As promised when it was first announced all the way back in 2015, the book will pick up right where the season four finale finished: Korra and Asami, hand in hand, about to go on a romantic getaway to the spirit world.
It might not feature the kiss many fans wanted to see after that moment, but it’s still very cute, as the couple wander through the whimsical environs of the spirit world. We can’t wait to finally see more of this wonderful series — and what adventures Korra and Asami go on next, of course. Check out a few more pages from Turf War at the link below, ahead of the book’s release in June.
