The Nintendo DS Lite, rumored to be discontinued, is getting a price drop, down to $US99.99 effective June 5, according to a Nintendo press release that went out this morning. That’s a $US30 drop for history’s first non-ugly DS, a model that’s been supplanted by the DSi, the DSi XL and the $US250 brand-new 3DS.

Anyone know where we can buy one of these at that price in Australia? I looked on the EB website but they’re still listed at $200.

You would be hard pressed to find the DS Lite for $100 with the mark up being around %50 for Australian retailers.
Expect it to be around $150.
