Back in 2009, a museum dedicated to Soviet arcade games opened in Moscow, Russia. Recently, Japanese site Osoroshian.com took a tour of the museum, snapping loads of photos in the process.
The museum houses over 40 arcade games that were licensed for manufacture in the USSR during the ’70s and ’80s. Many of the arcade games seem to be military themed, which should not come as a big surprise. There are also many sports games, it seems. Likewise, that’s not really a surprise.
One of the most interesting arcade games is a road sign quiz game, with the goal of pressing the correct answer in three seconds or less. You can play it solo or with two players. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard of an arcade game like this.
Here, have a look.
