Finally! I’ve been waiting for Serial Experiments Lain since it was announced when the first lot of packs came out.
anime is so ridiculously overpriced in Oz.
It’s overpriced everywhere. You should see the prices they pay for it in Japan.
DVDs/Blurays in general are expensive as hell in Japan. CDs are too.
I think media in general is really expensive over there for some reason.
Serial Experiments Lain seems to be a worthy purchase I remember watching it a decade ago and being mesmerized by those piercing eyes, the story is a little on the abstract side however.
A little?
Got to see Lain and Haibane getting a re-release. Two great classics in my opinion.
Looking forward to Railgun as well.
I finished railgun and have to say that, while enjoyable, its suffers from the same flaws of index where there is little in terms of a larger plot line and too little character development for there not to be a larger plot line… It ends up coming across as a little boring and uninteresting because of that especial when the coolest character is railgun and she isn’t always in the episodes… Seems like a filler series… But maby its just my taste.
