While these stats are interesting it does not specifically mention which characters are the most popular with competitive players, just which characters are the most popular with everyone.
Take Mortal Kombat 9 for example – two of the most popular characters with competitive players – Cyrax and Kabal, don’t even feature in the top 10.
Personally I would have been more interested to see the competitive stats, but it’s interesting nonetheless.
I personally find Batman in Injustice to be sickeningly OP…
But thats ok.
Because HES THE GODDAMN BATMAN.
Oh man, have you SEEN some of those Superman players out there? If there’s any character in the game that needs a nerf and hasn’t gotten one, it’s him. His eye beams are able to keep the majority of the roster out with ease, and he can do ridiculous damage up close. Some of the DLC characters they’ve introduced have hard counters for it, but some of these have come with their own problems (like Scorpion, a character whose teleport punch was designed for a game with a general block button, rather than directional blocking).
Really?! Ike?!
I thought barely anybody had played Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn (The best FE games hands down). That AND Ike is a pretty bad character in brawl. I would’ve thought Fox had it in the bag for sure.
Ike is incredible (in casual play, at least) if you can master his movement abilities. He can be stupidly quick, applying a really good A+A+A combo, then jumping away again.
i dont think people picked him coz of the awesomely awesome FE games,
i think its just a move set thing.
