This Week In Games: More Steam Stuff That’s A Bit Average

This week is another of them there filler weeks. Nothing massive out this week, but May still has some humdingers to come. Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein are almost here! Wooo?

I’ll refrain from commenting on the amount of dirge being released on Steam right now.

BattleBlock Theater (PC)

What is it? I really have no idea what the hell is going on here. BattleBlock Theater is a two-player co-op platformer with insane elements. Doesn’t have to be 2-player either.
Should you care? This looks insane. Seriously insane. And sort of fun.

Chronology (PC)

What is it? You won’t believe it! A 2D puzzle platformer! Whooooo!
Should you care? Even if this is good, how is this going to stand out among all the other retro styled 2D platformers. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve written that description.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (PC)

What is it? I’m always afraid of slagging off Dynasty Warriors, because so many people love this series. But it’s not my thing!
Should you care? Apparently this is one the better ones.

God of War Collection (PS Vita)

What is it? Loads of God of War games! Hurray. (Not God of War 3 though. Boooo.)
Should you care? Yeah, this is alright. Chances are you’ve already played these though.

Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS)

What is it? The return of that adorbs big fluffy ball of air.
Should you care? I like Kirby games. A bit basic, a bit simple, but always worth a blast.

Memento Mori 2

What is it? An award winning adventure game that takes players all over the globe in search of something or other.
Should you care? There are a lot of adventure games on Steam. A lot. This looks like one of the better ones.

Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion

What is it? A fairly average hack and slash game with juvenile fart humour chucked in.
Should you care? Fairly mediocre from all accounts. Might be fun in its four player mode.

Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition

What is it? It’s Minecraft
Should you care? It’s Minecraft.

Retro Game Crunch (PC)

What is it? Not just one retro styled game, but SEVEN!
Should you care? Man, I couldn’t be more sick of the ‘retro’ thing. Your mileage may differ.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 3: In Harm’s Way (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)

What is it? The only video game based on something that’s ever been better than the thing it’s based on. Except Goldeneye. There’s always Goldeneye.
Should you care? I was happy to leave it with Season 1. But I know there are people fiending for this.

Steam Squad (PC)

What is it? A turn-based war game about the first world war set in an alternate univers.
Should you care? I have no idea if this is good or not. I like the concept. I also like games about the first world war. But that’s all I’ve got.
