An official post on EA’s Origin site details a runthrough of the PC version of Dragon Age Inquisition, including info that the game will be ready 4K monitor set-ups. As for the rest of the specs you’ll need to optimally experience Inquisition, let’s start with the suggested options:

lol i got 680 in sli but only 2gb. gpu’s dont get much more powerful but ram keeps climbing.
I bought a 4gb 770 last year and got sledged for the extra RAM being essentially useless.
My theory was seeing the consoles go for larger ram for their gpu’s, figured mainstream game development is heading that way.
Then you were one of the few that actually had the proper foresight. Increased memory requirements was always going to be a factor this time around. Texture compression and streaming can only get you so far and in some cases can introduce some really bad stuttering (see AC4).
Good call. Yeah a bunch of people told me that over 2gb was going to be useless over 1080p :/

I wonder if the 3GB recommended is for those playing at higher resolutions then 1080p. I’m saving up for a 970 at the moment in hopes that it will handle The Witcher 3.
Actually the 3GB recommended is for ultra texture.
My main concern will be the SLI support, my PC has more than enough to run this at max but only if they don’t pull a Shadow of Mordor on us.

No more demanding than BF4 then, good news I guess.
I think it’s safe to say, game developers are quoting the high vram for 1440p resolutions.
High vram is for Ultra texture, not 1440p resolutions
And I’m just here waiting for star citizen to be released so I can splurge on a new PC good enough to run it on high 🙂
