It’s not the meat that’s pink, but the buns. Which might be worse.
pink buns in Japan, but these KFC buns are much more pink.

Sometimes (sometimes!), the burgers look like this:

Online in China, one site wondered if this isn’t KFC’s attempt to cash in on the popular of Japanese animation Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which is now popular in China.

I dunno. This might convince me to shove something pink back into my mouth.
Does BJ give a good BJ, ey, BJ?

They don’t look that much more disappointing than regularly-coloured burgers from KFC. Just seems to be the normal fluctuating of quality you’d expect from any fast food place.
I got as far as ‘pink burger’ and promptly commenced giggling like a primary school kid.
had a black kuro burger in Japan last year, it tasted like an ordinary burger that had been soaked in squid juice.. not tasty.. Gonna give this pink burger a shot if i can find one when i’m in tokyo in 2 weeks time.
Looks more appetising than the black one, just because there are plenty of pink foods whereas black ones are few and far between. Same reason I find squid ink pasta kinda gross.
