I know how it is. You’re awake for some reason. You don’t quite know why. Something in the air. Video game… news of some kind. You feel it. In your bones.
This is the reason why. Sony is having a big press conference. They’re going to annouce stuff. You can watch it here.
What are Sony going to announce? Well, there are rumours of a No Man’s Sky release date. That’s entirely reasonable, but I have a feeling we might see news on PlayStation VR. Maybe a release date or a price point? Maybe both.
At the very least I’m sure we’ll see new footage of Sony titles we already know about — like Uncharted 4 or Media Molecule’s Dreams. If we’re lucky we might get some new footage of The Last Guardian or Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Either way — a lot to look forward to and a lot to check out.

Whoa, a new article.
…Hi 😛
I started watching from Gravity Rush 2. Let me see… Uncharted 4 multiplayer, PlayStation VR stuff (still no date or price, but a lot of developers are apparently working on it)…
New Titles: Dreams by Media Molecule (the Little Big Planet guys)
Gran Tourism (some subtitle) which will support VR
A new Until Dawn VR game
Detroit: becoming human – a Quantic Dream game (the guys that do story driven games)
Wild – which looked boring
Some Crytek VR game which looked to be a walking with dinosaurs action thing
Some mini-mech E sports thing for VR
There was possibly more, but it is late and I am tired. The order I listed those games in is not correct either.
Hope that helps people wanting an instant overview.
I think the last guardian and Ratchet and Clank may have been shown at the start.
Now to sleep…
Some of those exclusives look really great! Horizon Zero Dawn and Wild for example. Maybe I will get a PS4 next holidays. :-s
Well, my 2.5 year old (the reason I was up watching it) so far has loved “wonderstruck’, and the “Disonaurs with wings” of No Man’s Sky, and then laughed out loud and clapped all the way through the Ratchet and Clank clip.
So she is hyped for next year’s titles.
Detroit looks interesting, so does Wild. I’m pretty pumped about next year.
