In late March, Sega revealed that the Sega Genesis Mini (Mega Drive Mini) will include forty games. Ten of those games were announced. Today, Sega divulged ten more.
Previously announced titles include Sonic The Hedgehog, Gunstar Heroes and Castlevania Bloodlines.
The ten titles Sega revealed today are
-
Thunderforce III
-
Super Fantasy Zone
-
Musha
-
World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
-
Streets of Rage 2
-
The Hybrid Front
-
Landstalker
-
Contra: Hard Corps
-
Dyna Brothers 2
-
Game no Kanzume Otokuyou
The Hybrid Front, Dyna Brothers 2 and Game no Kanzume Otokuyou were Japan-only titles, so expect the U.S. to get different games.
The Mini will be released on September 19.

Glad to see Landstalker there.
Goddamn musha sor2 and world of illusion, so good!
world of illusion is a welcome announcement
Gorgeous game. Beautiful music too.
I’m liking so far that they aren’t just fluffing up the line up with the Sega Classics games that have been done to death.
(There’s a few, maybe they will add a couple each announcement)
Looks like I’m getting my first mini console.
Man just please get the emulation right…
M2 are handling the emulation. They’ve been doing the emulation of Sega games for a long time including the Sega titles on the Virtual Console and various ports and classic collections on PlayStations.
Rest assured, the emulation is in good hands with this. No AtGames crap this time.
Thanks for the info, can’t wait.
AWESOME, another overpriced, cheaply made mini console with what feels like a random allotment of games thrown on it seemingly without thought or reason? can’t wait….
this looks to be the most promising console yet…
M2 is doing the emulation who are renowned for quality, AT Games has been completely removed from the picture…
also, this isnt just first party games either; they are actually going through the efforts to licence titles.
Hopefully Golden Axe comes with it as well.
Golden Axe, Altered Beast and Speedball 2. Especially Speedball2. That was our family’s dispute decider!
