Here’s 18 Minutes Of Gameplay From Marvel’s Avengers

There’s been a fair bit of cut scenes, but not much direct gameplay footage from Marvel’s Avengers yet. So to make up for that, here’s 18 minutes of Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man holding the line in San Francisco.

The footage starts with Thor before rotating through the rest of the cast. The video description mentions that the gameplay is from the tutorial level, so it’s natural that we get a little snippet of each of the main heroes and their basic movesets.

I’m getting some Superman vibes with the way the boss fight at the end is structured. Marvel’s Avengers doesn’t launch until May 15, 2020, so there’s plenty of time for Square and Crystal Dynamics to squeeze in more set pieces, boss fights and cinematic fights. I might have even finished playing Cyberpunk 2077 by then, too.

Marvel’s Avengers is due for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as Google Stadia (although Stadia might not be live in Australia by then).
