Famed filmmaker Steven Spielberg is directing upcoming feature film The Adventures of Tintin, based on the Tintin comic books. Ubisoft is making a game based on the movie.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to work with such renowned filmmakers on the iconic Tintin franchise,” said Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer at Ubisoft, in an official statement. “Our development team in Montpellier has worked very closely with the film team to ensure that players will have the chance to recreate the magical moments of the movie and to experience complete immersion into the Tintin universe.”
The movie is being produced by Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Kathleen Kennedy.
Out the October, The Adventures of Tintin: the Secret of the Unicorn: the Game is heading to the Xbox 360, the PS3, the PC, the 3DS and the Wii. It will have Kinect and PS Move support.
