I’ve been on vacation for three weeks, which explains the recent lack of a weekly cosplay roundup. But hey, I’m back now, and so is Fancy Pants.
It’s a good week to come back, too! Not just for awesome guy cosplay, a rarity in such volume, but it’s also a great week for fans of giant watermarks all over cosplay images as well!

Fancy Pants is Kotaku’s weekly round-up of the best in video game cosplay (costume play), where fans dress up as their favourite characters.

Dat Soul Reaver sword…
Oddly enough, that is probably one of the things I spent most time staring at.
…Cleavage was a close second. Obviously need moar testosterone.
When are you guys going to hire Roger Stonehouse to be an official gawker photographer? He regularly contributes fantastic images to gizmodo photo comps, and photographed the stunning Elizabeth cosplay above!
Gonna hit Pax next year and find myself a little gaming hottie.
Hah. Saw very few hotties at PAX that weren’t on someone’s arm, posing in costume, or traveling with a gaggle of awkward, hopeful-looking generally inoffensive guys in orbit. Be prepared to have to ignore your way through the clusters of nerd entourage they travel with. It’s off-putting, but a minor obstacle.
Just make an approach, get a number, exit and meet up later minus the wall of friendzoned human shields. Have an explanation ready in the incredibly unlikely event one of them complains or suggests that she is taken. Something like, “Sure. Even so…” or, “Relax Fido. It’s a few drinks, not a marriage proposal,” or, “Good work, assuming an independent young woman can’t make decisions for herself.”
