Yep, out of the 24 awards available, a whopping 10 went to Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic zombie survival game at tonight’s DICE Awards show. Plants VS. Zombies 2 and BioShock Infinite were the other two multi-award winning games, bringing home two trophies each, with Infinite winning Action Game of the Year.

Just finished my third play through TLOU last night. Outstanding.
I couldn’t get into The Last of Us for some reason…
Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?!
(Full disclosure, I’m joking, nothing is for everyone)
I like that 3 of the awards don’t have a winner listed…
For anyone interested:

Nice to see Ellie won the character perfomance award instead of Joel 😛
Why on earth would they lump RPG and MMO together? Two very different things. Ni No Kuni deserves all the awards, so charming
Story for Beyond? The story is awful, and there’s so much jumping around it all appears an incoherent mess. So it’s a terrible story told in a terrible way. Just because David Cage can afford mocap and Hollywood actors doesn’t automatically make the story good.
I guess that’s why it didn’t win 😛
Agreed. I thought Beyond’s story was terrible. Is it seriously because Cage gets famous actors and his games look vaguely like motion pictures that people automatically nominate them for these awards? Daytimesoaps like Passions have better screenplays than Beyond.
Or it could be, no matter the result, that he actually tries to explore some deeper aspects of a story while other repeat the same two dimensional characters.
It’s not even a matter of just Cage’s games, any game that goes deeper than the surface for character plot seems to engage people much more than the action tropes that very few can actually relate to
