A number of artists worked on Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I don’t mean to ignore their contributions to what is a very pretty game, but I have a thing for Matt Rhodes’ cartoonish style of concept art in particular.
Rhodes, lead concept artist on the game, has released a ton of his work on Inquisition, and it’s just as vibrant and full of life as his stuff for Mass Effect (or indeed the other Dragon Age games). That’s what I love about it: most concept art can convey a mood or conjure up pretty settings, but it’s not often you get to see character like this.
You can see more of Matt’s work at his personal site and ArtStation page.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.

Dragon Age 🙁 Preordered a week ago from eb games australia online. They shipped it to me by the slowest possible method (it shipped 5 days ago!), so now I’ve missed the release date (today) and have nothing to play over the weekend. I’m hoping it will arrive Monday and not Tuesday or later. First world problems, I know. But it still makes me bitter and twisted.
well… the art work looks nice at least.
Thats why you get it in store 😀 only preorder games online if they have express option or you don’t necessary need to play them straight away. I got my copy at Jb for 55 with 20% discount offer and I quite like the game so far as it to me its skyrim with a twist
If only this were the Dragon Age movie instead of the mediocre and visually dull 3D one.
