You’d think that the infamous NFL player nicknamed Beast Mode would be ok with the gory finishing moves of Mortal Kombat. He’s not. At all. Marshawn Lynch isn’t down with seeing people’s intestines.
In Conan O’Brien’s latest Clueless Gamer segment, he pits Seahawks running back Lynch against Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots in a few rounds of Mortal Kombat X. The segment is hilarious but it’s got what appears a few glaring bits of outright fakery, namely the fact that it’s highly unlikely that Beast Mode and Gronk are pulling off the inputs required to trigger MKX‘s blood-soaked match finishers.
It’s also funny that Lynch — whose terse relationship with the media and NFL management has become one of the most bizarre storylines of the past season — talks up a storm during the clip. If Seattle winds up winning the Super Bowl, Nintendo better get him to do some Mario Kart promos real quick.

The guy in the middle was hilarious
Their reactions to the fatalities were priceless. And the female nut punch.
Marshawn was awesome in this clip.
A note of the Fatalities though. Either the WB Rep did the input, or they had “Dev Kit Mode” enabled where all Fatalities are able to be done via a three button input.
I was wondering that. Would take the awesomness of fatalities away if it was too easy.
