After endless delays and a gradual drain of fan hope and excitement, the Mega Man successor Mighty No. 9 is actually coming out: on 21 June 2016 in the US and Asia, and 24 June 2016 worldwide.
Well, sorta. Not content just to announce a release date, designer Keiji Inafune also said today that he’s delayed the 3DS and Vita versions of his upcoming game, which “will follow at a later point”.
“I would like to say again how sincerely sorry we are for how long we have kept all of our fans waiting,” Inafune wrote. Now to see if the game delivers.

Oh yeaaaaaah \o/
I’ll believe it when I see it. Released. In Full. Available for Purchase.
This game is the reason why I don’t back Kickstarters anymore. I have never regretted something as much as I regret backing this.
On Steam it’s saying 21st for me, so hopefully that’s the Australian date.
Oh come on, I only wanted it for my 3DS.
Anyone know of a similar shooter?
There’s those other MegaMan-ish games, Azure Striker Gunvolt and Mighty Gunvolt.
