After giving us a few tantalising peeks at the high definition remake of the culinary classic platformer, MonkeyPaw Games delivers a handful of scintillating new screens for BurgerTime HD.
It’s nice to see there’s more to BurgerTime HD than building sandwiches amidst the purple swirls of outer space, as our previous glimpses at the game have demonstrated. MonkeyPaw Games, known for bringing Japanese PlayStation games to the PlayStation Network, is branching out into high definition reinventions of classic arcade titles. Not remakes, mind you, but reinventions.
“We reviewed the way retro gaming has been presented in recent years on the digital download platforms. Some games have been graphically retouched and look impressive. But a true classic deserves a complete reinvention in order to rekindle the magic that made it special.”
BurgerTime HD will feature 40 levels of burger-building action, four “hairy” bosses, and four-player online and local multiplayer.
And really angry hot dogs.
Look for BurgerTime HD to hit digital download platforms early this winter.
