“Unfortunately, the circumstances didn’t allow us to make a 360 exclusive,” Mortal Kombat boss Ed Boon told website Eurogamer. “I’m not allowed to talk too much about it, but I can tell you we certainly wanted to do an exclusive for 360, but that’s all I can say. It was not a decision we made where we said, oh, let’s not do one for the 360.” The PS3 version, however, has God of War character Kratos.

I think what he means is that Microsoft wouldn’t give them money to do it.
Which is why we still don’t have the demo on 360 (not that we will get it in Aus anyway).*None of this is based on fact. Obviously.
