3DS Update Might Screw Up Ridge Racer 3D

On June 6 (in the US, June 7 elsewhere), the Nintendo 3DS is getting a system update to stabilize the system and add the 3DS Shop. According to Nintendo, Ridge Racer 3D owners "may experience a disruption in their gameplay experience under certain conditions".

This issue will be resolved later this month with an additional system update. Sit tight!

    The Nintendo way;

    'If there's a chance of something going wrong we'll let you know before it happens just in case!'

    Good on 'em.

    That's cause it's riiiiiidddgggeee raxeerrrrrr!!

    Oh GREAT. The 3DS game I play the most and the one I most enjoy. Great. Perfect. Thanks a bunch.

    Does anybody know what they mean by "screw up" like does it lock up, corrupt saves, doesn't even start the game? I want to know what I'm in for with this.

    Five hundred ninety nine U.S. dollars!

    Michael, lol you need to relax. it's probably something only having to do with the hotspot type thing in the game. I don't see any reason why a software update for the 3DS would solely cause bad things to happen to save files of 1 game
