The Star Wars, Fallout & Neverwinter Art Of Brian Menze

Brian Menze’s been around the video game art world for a long time now. If you’ve played, say, Fallout 2 (released in 1998), know that he’s the guy who designed all the Vault Boy images in the game.

But that was the 20th century! Since then Menze has worked on games like Neverwinter Nights 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas.

In the gallery above, you’ll find examples of his contributions to all those projects except New Vegas, which sadly must still be under NDA (know that a lot of concept art never sees the light of day, even years after the completion of a project).

Also included is some art for internal projects at Obsidian, developers of most of the above games, that never made it into finished projects.

You can check out more of Brian’s art at his personal site.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists. If you’re in the business and have some concept, environment or character art you’d like to share, drop us a line!
