Here’s Lex Luthor From That Cancelled Superman Video Game

Great Rao, does the Man of Steel have terrible video game luck or what? Either the games that have Kal-El as the main character suck tremendously or they never get finished in the first place.

Codenamed Blue Steel, the Superman title that was in development by the late Factor 5 studio falls into the latter category. We’ve shown a bit of concept art from the game before, but a few more pieces from lead character artist Daveed Kaplan have come to light, via Just Push Start .

With both evil Kryptonian General Zod and ruler of Apokolips Darkseid both seemingly in the game, you have to wonder which one would have been the final boss. Director Zack Snyder’s take on the Last Son of Krypton — which stars Immortals actor Henry Cavill as Clark Kent — is supposedly due out next year so, if there’s meant to be a tie-in game for Superman’s film reboot, hopefully some dev studio’s working on it now.
